10 Types of Controlled Opposition

Discern the control system or be controlled.

When wicked men are in power and control the narratives, controlled opposition is a major information warfare tactic to manipulate and derail opposition. We have explored the topic of controlled opposition in these articles:

Whether it regards vaccines or any other prevalent societal narrative today (all of the narratives are part of the same goal to control, enslave, and even murder us), controlled opposition is used. It is ubiquitous on the Left, the Right, and much of the alternative media.

Controlled opposition narratives (from politicians, commentators, etc.) are packaged in many ways. You might have, say on the Right, different controlled influencers saying different things (even feuding with one another), which casts a “wide net” of narratives to capture as many people as possible. (Pick the narrative that works for you — so long as it distracts you from the full truth!)

Some consciously do the work of controlled opposition, some unwittingly. Many, I imagine, think less about whether they are furthering a manipulative agenda and just look as how they are rewarded (financially and otherwise) for pushing certain narratives. Others, on the other hand, carry out what they do due to blackmail.

Whatever the case, here is a list of conceivable controlled opposition types. Note that one can actually have the traits of several of these types.

Without giving out a long list of those whom I believe or suspect to be controlled opposition (although I do mention a few people below, and I tend to suspect anyone with a very large following, since they haven’t been shut down), I want readers to think about these different controlled opposition techniques so that they will be less likely to be taken in by “every wind of narrative.”

This is not so we can be quick to consider one controlled opposition who pushes the wrong narrative out of ignorance, but so we are not derailed in our opposition to tyranny by hastily trusting what we are told.

Charity with caution: it’s less about knowing motives and more about seeing past the mirage.

And remember: by not using discernment with narratives, those of us who are influencers can, at any given time, possess certain characteristics of the list below, unwittingly making us a “practical” controlled opposition.

Controlled Opposition Types

The Limited Hangout
He keeps you hanging on a ledge by not giving you secure footing to get to the top — enabling you to fall to your death.

The Limited Hangout does this by acknowledging enough of the truth to satisfy those who realize they have been conned — but not enough for you to get the full picture. Limited info “hangs out,” while the rest stays hidden.

For example, while all vaccines are dangerous and worthless, the Limited Hangout might push the idea that only some vaccines are dangerous and/or worthless — as implied in the suspension of the Johnson and Johnson COVID shot (but not the other COVID shots), and the recent vaccine schedule change.

The Expert
The guy who shows up in the freedom movement using his credentials to influence you. As an “expert,” he supposedly gives you the answers you need to gain your freedom — even though his very “expertise” was attained through the system he purports to fight!

In criticizing secondary Globalist narratives, he reinforces the foundational Globalist narratives — keeping the overall deception intact. For example, “correct” Globalist historical narratives are used to correct “incorrect” Globalist historical narratives (e.g., nationalism vs. internationalism), and “correct” Globalist vaccine science is used to correct “incorrect” Globalist vaccine science (e.g., “we just need better safety testing for future vaccines”).

The Gollum
He makes the truth appear ugly by wrapping it in lies, discrediting it in the process.

It works like this: the Gollum uses truth to refute a deceitful mainstream narrative — but some of the details of his critique are lies. Then, when the average joe is made aware of the lies (maybe via a “fact checker”), the lost credibility makes him reject the truthful aspects of the critique in the process — throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

In short, the lying aspects of his critique — no matter how insignificant — makes the truth that he is saying — no matter how important — too ugly to accept.

The Two Face
He pushes both the mainstream and alternative narratives in a way that maximizes the former and minimizes the latter.

The Two Face does this by pushing a particular mainstream narrative when it is most influential, then shifts to alternative narratives after the mainstream narrative has made most of its impact.

Think of the COVID scam, when so many influencers pushed the lockdowns, masks, and/or vaccines; then, after “reconsidering” the narratives, they shift to the side of the dissidents. But the damage has been done by his influence, and the shift to the right side is slow — too little, too late as compared with those who warned about the scam long before the Two Face’s “awakening.”

But the “awakening” is enough to establish trust with the freedom movement, enabling the Two Face to engage in the same tactic in future narratives. Rinse and repeat: “The mainstream narrative was wrong previously, but we can trust it now.”

The Psychologist
Many point out the problem of controlled opposition. But some who do so may be legit influencers in the freedom movement, while others may not be.

Since one would expect informed, credible influencers to point out the problem of controlled opposition, the Psychologist — actually working as controlled opposition on behalf of the elite — also does so to earn trust with the freedom movement. In short, he uses psychology by on the one hand pushing narratives that benefit the elite, and on the other maintaining trust by calling others out as controlled opposition. “He can’t be controlled opposition himself — he’s willing to call out the wolves!”

Those whom he labels controlled opposition might be actual controlled opposition; or, to discredit those who threaten the Globalist system, he might label as controlled opposition genuine advocates of the freedom movement in a divide and conquer tactic.

The Sleeper Agent
He says all of the right things until a certain point — then, after your trust is gained, misdirects you down the wrong path.

“I’ve been saying all this time that the Globalist elite control the system — and Trump is the man to stop them!”

“And I’ve been saying all this time that the vaccine genocide must stop — and RFK Jr. is the man to do this!”

The Sleeper Agent, then, secretly turns on you and “bam”! Game over! You turn your back and are dead and you don’t yet know it! Everything he claims to oppose is reinforced in one simple misdirection.

The Phantom Influencer
Appears on the scene out of nowhere! His YouTube page shoots up overnight! How does this happen? Nobody knows! But he is seen to be legit (and even a celebrity!), since everyone in the freedom movement is suddenly discussing and recommending him.

His sudden appearance and impact is due to funding from intelligence services and Globalist-friendly algorithms — enabling him to contaminate the freedom movement with counterproductive narratives.

The Circus Clown
He makes the truth seem unbelievable by coupling it with absurd views and/or clownish behavior.

In short, the Circus Clown plays on our guilt-by-association biases. (Think Alex Jones.)

This hinders the average Joe from from accepting truths about the malevolent Globalist agenda: who can believe the message when the messenger seems crazy?

The Assimilator
Once was a visible part of left- or right-wing media, but has an “awakening” and becomes “independent” — appearing to be out of the system by adopting some of the legit conspiracy narratives. However, these narratives are mixed with mainstream Globalist narratives (such as focusing on a political party as the ultimate human enemy as opposed to the central bankers).

The assimilator may have even been “cancelled” at some point — giving him street cred. This, along with popularity and wealth (via funding from intelligence services) gives the assimilator much clout and visibility, enabling him to co-opt — and thus derail — much of the freedom movement with false narratives.

The Cult of Personality
A charismatic figure commanding unquestioning obedience by simply promising to be pro-freedom.

The Cult of Personality takes advantage of our idolatrous inclinations — in this case, the hope for an earthly savior.

Since idolatry makes us stupid — destroying our ability to think critically (see Isaiah 44:9-20, Jeremiah 10:1-16) — as the Cult of Personality achieves divine status in the minds of his followers, no action is beyond justification. Repeated failures to achieve freedom and increased authoritarianism only need such explanations as “he didn’t know,” “it’s his opponent’s fault,” and “the failures are really victories — he’s playing chess!”

He has such a spell on his followers that he can even tyrannize, pillage, and murder them (such as via COVID vaccines) — and yet they come back for more so long as he says “fight! fight! fight!”
