Vaccines, Conspiracies, and being WISE as SERPENTS

During His earthly ministry, Jesus says to His apostles: “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” (Matthew 10:16, ESV)

Let’s talk about how being wise as serpents relates to being discerning about vaccines and conspiracies. First, though, some commentaries:

Be ye therefore wise as serpents — On the one hand, be so prudent as not to irritate the wicked, and those who shall oppose you, either by your behaviour or your doctrine, unnecessarily, and avoid all unnecessary dangers …
— Benson Commentary

Probably the thing in which Christ directed his followers to imitate the serpent was in its caution in avoiding danger. No animal equals them in the rapidity and skill which they evince in escaping danger. So said Christ to his disciples, You need caution and wisdom in the midst of a world that will seek your lives.
— Barnes’ Notes on the Bible

be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves—Wonderful combination this! Alone, the wisdom of the serpent is mere cunning, and the harmlessness of the dove little better than weakness: but in combination, the wisdom of the serpent would save them from unnecessary exposure to danger; the harmlessness of the dove, from sinful expedients to escape it.
— Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary

The serpent is a very sharp sighted, cunning creature, and uses various arts and stratagems for its own preservation, and especially of its head; and is so far to be imitated by the followers of Christ, as to make use of all proper methods to preserve themselves from the insults and rage of men, and not expose themselves to unnecessary dangers
— Gill’s Exposition of the Entire Bible

Bible Hub, Matthew 10:16, Commentaries. Retrieved December 6, 2023, from https://biblehub.com/commentaries/matthew/10-16.htm. We don’t know enough about some of the commentators above to say whether we agree or not with them on certain fundamentals of the Christian faith.

While there are no more apostles, we can apply Christ’s statement to all Christians as wisdom for surviving as His representatives in a world hostile to Christ and His people. After all — there are still wolves after Christians.

Now, survival entails discerning and avoiding attempts to destroy your life and health. There are many entities that might attempt such, but for our purposes here, we want to highlight perhaps your greatest threat — the Globalists, a group of wealthy elites who control and manipulate the world’s governments and other powerful institutions.

A major reason for the manipulation is to commit mass harm and murder. The most obvious example, for those paying attention, is vaccine genocide. But there are other ways as well.

On that note, we find the following comments on being wise as serpents very interesting:

Be ye wise as serpents and innocent as doves is a way of saying that you are going to have to understand the wicked world, but you mustn’t in any way join in its manner of acting or thinking. So you’ve got to be as wise as serpents — you’ve got to see what the enemy is up to — and therefore understand what’s going on, and understand just how far off base modern politics are, and why they are so far off base, because they are without God; but you’ve got to be as innocent as doves — you mustn’t, through getting too close to all the evil start taking part in it. You’ve got to go close enough to know it, but stay far enough in order to not to get infected.

From an interview by Nick Kollerstrom with a one Bishop Williamson. In quoting Williamson, we do not endorse his Catholicism, which promotes a false gospel of works salvation, instead of salvation through faith in Christ alone.

Nevertheless, it seems many Christians consider it a virtue to bury your head in the sand and ignore conspiracies. “Just focus on Christ,” they hold. But Christ Himself says to be wise as serpents as a means of surviving dangerous wolves. Focusing on Christ includes applying His commands and wisdom. (We must also consider Christ’s command against murder.)

Therefore, we need to have a good idea about the tactics Christ’s enemies use to destroy us. The vaccine conspiracy alone has handicapped the church with death and chronic illness. See what the failure to apply the wisdom of the serpent has led to?

As the Globalists feverishly employ all kinds of tactics to murder a large portion of the world and enslave those who remain, remember: there is no group of people that Satan’s followers are more hostile towards than Christians.

And so, have wisdom of the serpent. Stay informed of the Globalists’ plots against you (and anyone’s plots, for that matter). Take precautions. Don’t let absurd conspiracy denialism cost you your health — or even your life. Surely too many Christians have had their callings cut short by this very thing.

Of course, don’t take things to the level of obsession or despair. Just have a healthy level of knowledge. Always remember that God is in control. The duty is ours; the results are God’s.

What’s a good place to start for getting informed of the Globalists’ murderous and tyrannical plans? All of the mainstream media is captured by the Globalists, and, it seems, much of the alternative media as well (which is just more subtle, employing controlled opposition). A good place to start to gain serpent wisdom is the David Knight Show. David is a Christian, is very knowledgeable, and will educate you quickly about Globalism.

Appendix: J.M. Peebles on being wise as serpents regarding vaccination (1913)

From Vaccination a Curse and a Menace to Personal Liberty: With Statistics Showing Its Dangers and Criminality:

In the evil times upon which we have fallen, each individual should strive to become “wise as serpents and harmless as doves,” for it is now incumbent upon each human unit in the fermenting body politic, to watch and defend his own integrity. Against this integrity all class-interests combine. Production, massed in great trusts which are in possession of the laborsaving machines, sends the individual adrift who depends upon the labor of his hands. The grocer feeds the body with adulterated food; the manufacturer clothes it with shoddy garments; the vaccinator punctures and poisons it with putrid pus–and so on to the end of the chapter. From every direction enemies arise to assail the integrity of the man. We must, therefore, be alert and don our defensive armor.
