Excepting biblically lawful capital punishment, self-defense, defending others, and just war, Scripture forbids harming others – whether it be injuring (Lev. 24:19, 20; Ezekiel 18:18) or killing. These are violations of the Sixth Commandment: “Thou shalt not kill” (Exodus 20:13), which requires us to preserve – not to take – life and limb.

The Larger Catechism of the enormously influential Christian confession, the Westminster Confession of Faith (1647) (not divinely inspired but an excellent tool for teaching Scripture) says this in “Question 136: What are the sins forbidden in the sixth commandment?”:

Answer: The sins forbidden in the sixth commandment are, all taking away the life of ourselves [Acts 16:28], or of others [Gen 9:6], except in case of public justice [Num 35:31, 33], lawful war [Jer 48:10; Dt 20], or necessary defense [Ex 22:2–3]; the neglecting or withdrawing the lawful and necessary means of preservation of life [Mt 25:42–43; Jas 2:15–16; Eccl 6:1–2]; sinful anger [Mt 5:22], hatred [1 Jn 3:15; Lev 19:17], envy [Prov 14:30], desire of revenge [Rom 12:19]; all excessive passions [Eph 4:31], distracting cares [Mt 6:31, 34]; immoderate use of meat, drink [Lk 21:34; Rom 13:13], labor [Eccl 12:12; 2:22–23], and recreations [Isa 5:12]; provoking words [Prov 15:1; 12:18], oppression [Ezk 18:18; Ex 1:14], quarreling [Gal 5:15; Prov 23:29], striking, wounding [Num 35:16–18, 21], and: Whatsoever else tends to the destruction of the life of any.[ Ex 21:18–36]

In addition, part of “Question 135: What are the duties required in the sixth commandment?” reads:

Answer: The duties required in the sixth commandment are, all careful studies, and lawful endeavors, to preserve the life of ourselves [Eph 5:28–29] and others [1 Kgs 18:4] by … avoiding all occasions [2 Sam 2:22; Dt 22:8], temptations [Mt 4:6–7; Prov 1:10–11, 15–16], and practices, which tend to the unjust taking away the life of any [1 Sam 24:12; 26:9–11; Gen 37:21–22]; … a sober use of … physic [medicine] [Isa 38:21] … [partial list]

Vaccination both injures and kills – and on a large scale at that. And so, as the Catechism describes, it is not, as its propagandists assert, a “lawful and necessary means of preservation of life,” or “a sober use of … physic [medicine].” On the contrary, it is “striking, wounding,” and even the “taking away the life of ourselves, or of others.”

Since we should be “avoiding all occasions” of “Whatsoever else tends to the destruction of the life,” we should always avoid vaccination. One should not be content with ignorance. Studying vaccination on one’s own and not blindly following the so-called experts is an example of making “all careful studies … to preserve the life of ourselves …”
